5th workshop of the project "Creating Change
Networks for Local Governance" Conference.
The main objective of the project was to help building local expertise
to better design intergovernmental relations and develop local
government capacities in the four Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan). The 5th workshop was aimed at
Citizen participation in decision-making and policy process; information
and communication technology.
Project was developed and financed by United Nations Development
Program (UNDP), the Open Society Institute’s Local Governance
Initiative, the World Bank Institute and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the Czech Republic. 5th workshop held on Prague was organised by Educon.
