The objective of the Study Tour was to provide participants from different developing /transition countries with the topical information in the following areas:

  • Czech Agricultural Machinery
  • Interaction of Engineering with the live Environment
  • Environmental Recycling Technologies in Agriculture
  • Agriculture Engineering in Technology Agriculture Management
  • Montreal Protocol (Ozone Depletion Substances)
  • Biomass as a Mean for Greenhouse Mitigation
  • Biomass Resources as an Energy Means
  • Alternative Transport
  • Environmental-friendly Utilization of Farm Power
  • Agricultural Engineering in post-harvest Technologies and Processing of agriculture Production
  • Project Formulation and Implementation
  • The Field of Bio-fuels I, II
  • Research and Development of New Introduced Plants to Central European Conditions for Technical, Medicinal and Energetic Purposes

Industrial Plants Excursions:

  • Visit to greenhouses
  • Visit to agricultural farm Agricultural & Marketing Co-operative Ltd. Zalsi
  • Visit to Resource Institute of Crop Production in Prague
  • Visit to the Institute for Crop Production, Ecotoxicology Department, Chomutov - advanced recycling technology and GPS applying in a factory

Participants:

The Study Tour was attended by 6 participants from 4 developing/transition countries (Belarus, Bulgaria, Egypt and Syria).
