4. Marketing for production and trade needs of firms. Market analysis: demand and the possibility of influencing it, evaluation of the competitiveness of firms according to the rules of the OECD.
5. Introduction of innovative technologies for SME.
6. Integrated environmental management in SME.
7. Financial analysis of investment projects.
8. Characterization of a current research and development situation in the Czech Republic, Czech Republic's participation in the 5th outline programme of the European Union and enforcement of industry's interests under programme of National policy of research and development.
9. Globalization of economy. The role of foreign capital during the transformation of economy - active pro-investment-oriented policy.
10. Information systems - support of SME.

• Technical visit to BEST Benesov - production of construction machines
• Meeting with representative of Business Development Agency
• Meeting with representatives of Centre for Regional Development Prague and Euro Info Centre Prague

Participants:

The Workshop was attended by 13 participants from 10 developing/transition countries (Belarus, Bulgaria, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Yemen).
