INSTRUCTIONS

A. The working language will be English.
All the lectures and discussions will be held in English. A good working knowledge of English will enable the participants to take an active part in the workshop / study tour.

B. Financial and administrative arrangements will be as follows:
1. The participants and/or their employers are expected to cover:
a) all expenses in home countries incidental to travel abroad, including expenditure for passport, visa or medical insurance;
b) salary and other benefits of the participants during the period of their attendance at the workshop / study tour;
c) international travel of participants between the airport of departure in the participants home countries and Prague, Czech Republic.

2. The Project will cover:
a) simple accommodation in single rooms with bath;
b) full board;
c) travel within the Czech Republic related to the workshop / study tour programme;
d) organisational and secretarial support.

3. Neither UNDP nor the Government of the Czech Republic will assume responsibility for the following expenditures in connection with the participants attendance at the workshop/ study tour:
a) cost incurred by the participants with respect to any insurance, medical bills and hospitalisation fees;
b) compensation in event of death, disability or illness;
c) loss or damage to personal property;
d) purchase of personal belongings and compensation in the event of damage caused to them by climatic or other conditions;
e) participants are strongly advised not to have members of their family accompany them since no accommodation for family members will be available; the organisers of the workshop/ study tour will not be liable for any expenses incurred by dependants.

C. Travel arrangements
Return flight tickets from participants home countries to Prague are to be arranged and financed by the participants' Governments/employers. The participants will be met at Prague airport or bus / railway station by the workshop / study tour organisers and transported to the hotel. The participants are kindly asked to inform the workshop / study tour organisers well in advance about the exact date and time of their arrival and flight number or bus / railway station.

D. Passport and visa arrangements
Participants must possess valid passports with the Czech entry visa (when required). Before leaving their home countries, participants are urged to contact the nearest diplomatic or consular office of the Czech Republic to obtain information on visa and customs regulations in connection with their trip.
